All-Star Award
I am excited to announce that I was named a Legislative All-Star by the Maryland Retailers Alliance (MRA). This recognition was given to me for supporting the retail business community in Maryland during the 2024 legislative session. The MRA represents over 5,000 businesses that employ more than 500,000 workers in our state. Since retailers are such an important part of Maryland’s economy, I will always back commonsense legislation that supports their endeavors along with ensuring their workers receive fair wages.
Essay Contest
The Susquehanna Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) is hosting its annual Veterans Day Poster & Essay Contest for all Harford County students (public, private, and home-schooled). Cash prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each grade category (courtesy of Anderson Buick GMC of Abingdon). Winners will also receive a special challenge coin, and be recognized during an award ceremony on November 8th, 2024, sponsored by the Susquehanna Chapter of MOAA. Additionally, all contest participants will receive a free voucher for an IronBirds ticket for the 2025 season. The submission deadline is October 20th, 2024, and all entries will be electronic. There is no fee to participate.
