Harford County Art Grants
The Harford County Cultural Arts Advisory Board is now accepting applications for the Community Arts Development Grant program. This grant is available to Harford’s nonprofits, units of government, colleges, and faith-based organizations producing or presenting the arts in Harford County. The deadline to apply for this grant is Monday, April 17, 2023, and you can find the application on their website here.
I recently had an outstanding meeting with a group of Harford County educators where we discussed important issues facing our local school system. Ensuring our schools have the necessary resources to cultivate the young minds of Harford County is one of my top priorities, and I eagerly await further opportunities to continue our cooperation.
I also had a productive meeting with our great Aberdeen representatives, Mayor Patrick McGrady and City Council President Adam Hiob. Close coordination between the different levels of government is essential for effective leadership, and I will continue striving to maintain these partnerships.
